Ayurveda is the world’s oldest recorded healing system. It originated in India and is intimately liked to yoga. Ayurveda’s goal is to achieve health by working toward balance and harmony within one’s self and with the world around us.

Similar in some ways to Chinese medicine, Ayurveda separates all life into types or doshas that correspond to the 5 basic elements. In this class you will discover your primary Ayurvedic dosha and learn to recognize signs that your dosha has become imbalanced. You will learn ways to use food, yoga and lifestyle to keep your doshas balanced and be happy, peaceful and productive!
